About me*

Summed Up

I'm an outdoor-obsessed, data-driven creative who makes cool stuff for cool companies. Also, here's a picture of me with a bird.

Jane moody

About me

I come from a unique mix of creatives, medical professionals, and business owners, and I got a little of each: the drive to make bold work and the need to know it did its job. A design can look as cool as you want, but if it doesn't tell a story or move people to act, its essentially pointless. Balancing aesthetics with purpose is the hardest part of what I do, and it's by far my favorite.

I'm a full-stack creative based in the mountains of North Carolina, with 7+ years across branding, web, print, merch, email, and paid social. When I'm not designing, I'm out riding, climbing, or scrambling around in the woods, so I'm usually the customer my clients are trying to reach.

My Journey

Moody Milestones

How I Got Here

2019

College days & getting started in the creative industry

I studied Advertising and Public Relations at UNC Chapel Hill with a concentration in graphic design, so strategy and creative have been side by side from the start.

In the summer of 2019 I interned in London at Pebble Studios, a motion graphics studio building AR/VR experiences. It was my first time seeing marketing built as an experience.

I majored in Advertising and Public Relations at UNC Chapel Hill, with a concentration in graphic design — strategy and creative, side by side, from the start.

In the summer of 2019, I worked in London at Pebble Studios, a motion graphics studio specializing in AR/VR experiences.

Navigating post-grad during the pandemic

My first post-grad job, running influencer campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the country — discovery, outreach, negotiations, creative briefs, the whole pipeline. I learned how effective creator partnerships really work, and that I wanted to be closer to the creative itself.

Learning to lead in the outdoor industry

I joined a small outdoor gear brand and got back to making things: the website, emails, social, graphics, and the booths we hauled to festivals all season.

Within a year I was leading the department. I directed all creative, managed the social team, built the annual plans, and ran campaigns, influencer partnerships, and trade shows.

Running creative for brands across the globe

Facets brought me back to agency work, this time for outdoor brands and events across the US and three international markets. I started as a creative associate handling web design, graphics, and social, and the scope grew fast.

In late 2025, I was promoted to Creative Director. I now lead branding, web design and development, print, merchandise, email, paid social and search, and event branding across our roster.
